Martin designed several large power plants for Pacifico Energy and GSSG Solar in Japan. He has 24 years of experience in the PV industry, including PV System design and optimization, power plant development, components design and technology evaluation, negotiating with suppliers and training engineers.
He started his solar career analyzing the first HIT cells manufactured at Sanyo Solar in Hirakata. He served as a technical advisor to Intel Capital for photovoltaic investments, built the US PV engineering team for Siemens, and developed E.On’s PV engineering division in San Francisco. He oversaw the technical design, negotiation, and implementation of over 240 MW of PV plants in Japan for leading IPPs.

He currently leads Canadian Solar’s Energy Business in Japan, which has seen over 220MW of projects connected and currently has over 70MW of projects under construction and a late stage development pipeline of 200MW.

Jeff played an instrument role in the launch of Canadian Solar Infrastructure fund, the largest listed infrastructure in Japan with 23B JPY. This platform is managed by Canadian Solar’s asset management team in Japan, which currently overseas 100B JPY worth of assets.

Canadian Solar’s asset management business has grown to over 400M JPY per year in annual revenue since Mr. Roy launched the business in 2016 and will see significant growth over the next few years.

Mr. Harman joined the company in 2015 and has 30 years of project management experience, with over 10 year’s extensive engineering knowledge within the renewable energy industry.Prior to joining First Solar, Mr. Harman worked throughout Europe focusing on design and installation of commercial, industrial, and remote PV. His strong passion in rural electrification and the use of renewable energy to help build sustainable communities, led him to take on the role of CEO for the NGO, Light2Learn In this position, he has lead several expeditions to install solar power for isolated schools in North Africa.
Mr. Harman holds a BSc in Civil Engineering, Project Manager Certification (PRINCE2) and a Chartered IT Professional.

David Litt is a Professor at Keio University Law School, where he teaches international business, comparative law and public policy-related subjects. His research interests focus on corporate law, corporate governance, and energy law and policy. David serves as co-chair of the Energy Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan, and acts as an adviser to or director of several privately held Japanese companies. From 2012 to early 2015, he co-founded and co-managed a business that developed projects under Japan’s feed-in-tariff (FIT) for renewable energy. He previously served as a partner of the law firms of O’Melveny & Myers LLP and Morrison & Foerster LLP. David was co-head of MoFo’s investment fund formation practice, and was recognized by various industry publications as a leading lawyer in the corporate/M&A and investment fund areas. David served as a law clerk to Justice Anthony M. Kennedy of the U.S. Supreme Court and Chief Judge Alfred T. Goodwin, of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He is a graduate of Yale University and the University of Chicago Law School.

Marco has eighteen years of international experience in the management of assets, and operation and maintenance throughout various industries, including seven years in the solar industry.
He has been paving his career path towards full asset management services since beginning his career with ABB, integrating its full-service team for industrial assets.
Following this, Marco worked at Transdev-Veolia, focused on business and asset management for Light Rail networks in Europe.
In 2010 he became founder and global Head of Martifer Solar´s O&M and Service Business, driving the strategic direction while leading a team of more than 100 employees, where he became Executive Committee Member as the representative of O&M and, accumulated with the responsibility of leading the EPC global business in 2015, until leaving the company in 2017. Martifer Solar operated in more than 20 countries as a global reputed Developer, EPC turnkey provider and one of the most relevant O&M Global Service providers for Solar assets.
In 2018 he co-founded and integrated as General Manger the company MTX Solar - a provider of innovative solutions and services for the players of the solar industry, with own competences for the whole chain of value of Solar, present in two continents.
Marco received his MSC in Electrical Engineering and completed an Executive MBA in Management from University of Porto Business School/IE Madrid. He speaks Portuguese, English, and Spanish, with a working proficiency in the French language.

Mr. Thompson is the Head of Asset Management at Green Power Investment Group (GPI). GPI is an independent, fully-integrated energy company that develops, constructs, owns and operates renewable energy projects and transmission assets across Japan.

Mr. Thompson background includes roles as Chief Financial Officer at Solar Power Networks in Japan where he led the team to acquire, develop and manage over 250 MWs of commercial and industrial roof solar projects throughout Japan. Mr. Thompson has also had a fifteen-year career in investment banking as the Representative Director in Japan for Credit Suisse. Prior to this Mr. Thompson served as the Asia Pacific Regional Portfolio Director at AT&T K.K. and then later NCR Japan K.K. managing real estate investments throughout Asia.

Mr. Watanabe has gained experiences in PV industry from sales, design to project management. As the person in charge responsible for the market first PV system collective estimation site in Japan, he has engaged onto consumer protection and healthy industry improvement from malicious sales at the time.
Currently as General Manager of Technical and Operation Department of Adler Solar Works, a leading maintenance and consulting company of PV system, he is involving into quality inspection of solar modules, technical due diligence of plants as well as plant O&M business.

Spaniard, academic background in law and economics. Fluent in English, French and Japanese. Extensive professional experience in the consulting, commercial, project management and corporate management, in different projects in Spain, France, UK, China and Japan both in government related companies and global corporations.

Director of “Fundacion Madrid Global” (Madrid City Office) managed all operations and construction of the Madrid Pavillion in Expo 2010 Shanghai, China, and acted as representative director during the Event.

Designed and implemented the Japan Direct Investment Project for Madrid City Office (Spain) , Madrid Global Foundation, aiming to increase Japanese corporations direct investments in Madrid region.

Resident in Japan from 1991 to 1995 and now permanently since 2012, worked in top Japanese automotive manufacturer in new models development and project management before joining the renewables sector in the photovoltaic area, undertaking the management of Solarig Japan in 2017 having completed to date 16,5 Mw of PV plants full EPC, from initial design to construction phase an commercial operation, providing operation and maintenance services for over 200Mw in 30 plants across Japan and leading a team of 40 professionals. Leading EPC and O&M Services in Japan for the coming years in a comprehensive proposal for local and foreign investors.
